Accounting. Each month, HTM records expenses and assets, updates depreciation schedules, reconciles bank accounts, and generates financial statements. A cash requirement report is sent to request funds for payments. HTM makes payments only from approved original source documents according to the clients' approval policy. Recording and payments are segmented. The financial statements include the balance sheet, income statement, trial balance, balance sheet schedules, and aging reports. Payroll & Social Insurance. HTM manages the complete payroll and social insurance processing including all calculations, payments, forecasting of cash requirements, and expatriate compensation. Employees' attendance time, including overtime, is recorded using a web-based system that incorporates management approval, providing clients visibility and control. Human Resources. HTM works with clients on managing their human resources including employee housing (there are tax advantages to both the employee and the company paying employees' rent through the company), work rules (required for 10 or more employees), employee agreements, and termination issues. Tax. HTM prepares all tax filings and ensures correct and appropriate policies are followed for consumption tax, corporate income tax, asset tax, inventory valuation, Japan GAAP, and home office GAAP. |
Employee Expense Reporting. Employees' expenses are recorded using HTM's web-based expense reporting system. Employees enter and submit the expenses, HTM matches the expenses to the receipts, the manager approves them, and HTM makes the reimbursements. Financial Control. HTM provides monitoring and management of revenue and expenditure including various scenarios that facilitates decision-making on action plans to achieve desired business goals. Office Space. Fully-equiped office space is available for rent at HTM. This service includes desks with internet connectivity, printing and copier use, a telephone answering service, and meeting rooms.
